Static ATC – HT Machine
Static machines for dyeing tights, designed to ensure maximum efficiency, production flexibility, and optimal bath management.
A textile dyeing machines for pantyhose has to be selected around the article and the way it is loaded, not only around nominal capacity. Pantyhose and tights are specific hosiery products, so carriers, liquor management, batch variability and production continuity all influence how the equipment should be configured.
Flainox addresses this application with the static ATC–HT machine. The range covers nominal loads from 4 to 240 kg and uses dedicated material carriers, allowing dyehouses to work from contained batches to larger production quantities with a machine developed specifically for pantyhose processing.

The construction and handling of pantyhose make loading conditions particularly important. A dedicated system should allow the product to be arranged in a way that supports controlled processing while fitting the operating method used by the dyehouse.
ATC–HT can use carriers with drawers for dyeing preformed pantyhose. It can also be configured with baskets equipped with grids for material processed in bags. This gives the user a choice of material-handling system based on the product and production method.
When selecting a textile dyeing machine for this application, the main points to review are:
ATC–HT is the Flainox solution dedicated to this category. It is built in high-thickness AISI 316/L stainless steel and can work with air-cushion pressurisation or external liquor recirculation. The Flainox technical data used for this revision specifies a design pressure of 0.5 bar and a design temperature of 110 °C across the listed sizes.
The range includes nominal loads of 4, 20, 60, 120 and 240 kg. Different sizes allow the textile dyeing machine to be matched to real production needs instead of choosing only on maximum theoretical capacity. For departments handling variable batches, ATC–HT can also be equipped for reduced loads while maintaining a constant liquor ratio.
| Nominal load | Design pressure | Design temperature | Doors / drawers |
| 4 kg | 0.5 bar | 110 °C | 1 / 4 |
| 20 kg | 0.5 bar | 110 °C | 1 / 6 |
| 60 kg | 0.5 bar | 110 °C | 1 / 10 |
| 120 kg | 0.5 bar | 110 °C | 1 / 10 |
| 240 kg | 0.5 bar | 110 °C | 2 / 10 + 10 |
In pantyhose production, liquor management is a central operating parameter. ATC–HT can be configured with automatic coupling systems and total liquor replacement for large quantities. The possibility of reducing the load while keeping the liquor ratio constant adds flexibility when a department alternates between different batch sizes.
Machine control is managed through a Flainox industrial PC with remote online assistance. This supports a production environment in which process control and technical assistance are part of day-to-day operation.
The wider Flainox approach to resource efficiency and lower-impact processing is described on the Sustainability page.
There is no single ATC–HT size that suits every hosiery producer. The choice should start with the product, expected batch sizes and the material carrier required. A department focused on small batches has different needs from a line processing larger quantities with continuous cycles.
Flainox can support the evaluation of capacity, material carriers, liquor management and integration with the existing plant. Pantyhose processing is also part of the wider Garment Dyeing offer, together with atmospheric systems, high-temperature solutions and industrial dryers.
