High-temperature dyeing machines

Flainox high-temperature dyeing machines are designed for processes that require specific thermal conditions and cover finished garments, hosiery, seamless items, polyester and blended fabrics. The range includes solutions for laboratory work, sampling and production, allowing the process to move from initial trials to industrial volumes with equipment selected for each stage.

ARC–HT and NRG–HT operate up to 135 °C and are intended respectively for sampling/small productions and production. The G1 LP family extends the range with open-basket systems for high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing, particularly suitable for polyester garments and blends.

When high-temperature processing is required

Machine selection starts with fibre composition and the process recipe. The article, required temperature, pressure, batch size and production stage all influence which equipment is appropriate. Development work usually needs flexibility and contained quantities; production requires capacity, continuity and process control across more structured cycles.

For this reason, choosing dyeing machines only by nominal load can be misleading. The intended application and operating conditions should be defined first, then matched to the configuration.

ARC–HT for sampling and small productions

ARC–HT is a single-basket rotary machine for high-temperature dyeing of finished garments, hosiery and seamless items. It is available with nominal loads of 10 and 30 kg and a maximum operating temperature of 135 °C.

The machine is built in high-thickness AISI 316/L stainless steel, with inverter-controlled basket rotation and a Flainox industrial PC with remote online assistance. It is suited to dyehouses that need a dedicated unit for trials, samples and small production batches before moving to higher volumes.

NRG–HT for production at 135 °C

NRG–HT is the rotary production solution for high-temperature processing of finished garments, hosiery and seamless items. It is available with nominal loads of 90, 180 and 240 kg, a maximum operating temperature of 135 °C and a basket divided into three compartments.

The production configuration includes a high-speed centrifuge with hydraulic balancing, inverter-controlled basket rotation, ECO-LEVEL, ECO-RINSE and the Utility Saving Kit. The U.S.K. monitors consumption and bath quality during washing, giving operators additional process information while supporting resource management.

G1 LP for polyester garments and blended fabrics

The G1 LP family is dedicated to high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing of polyester garments and blends. Flainox offers laboratory, sampling and production versions with open baskets, allowing companies to select equipment around the stage of process development rather than adapting one machine to every task.

The laboratory version is intended for trials and development, the sampling version for contained representative batches, and the production version for larger volumes. Flainox documentation for G1 LP Production also describes an UP version designed to reduce the liquor ratio to LR 1:3 and a centrifuge for synthetic and blended materials.

Process control and efficiency

With high-temperature dyeing machines, thermal control, load management, basket configuration and bath management must match the fibre and the expected result. The purpose of the range is therefore not to offer one universal machine, but different configurations for specific operating conditions.

The ECO functions available on NRG–HT are part of the wider Flainox approach to reducing water, energy and chemical use. Additional information about this direction is available on the Sustainability page.

How to choose between laboratory, sampling and production

In the laboratory, the priority is to develop and verify the process. During sampling, the machine must handle small but representative batches. In production, capacity, continuity and cycle consistency become central. Flainox supports the evaluation using fibre, article, required temperature and pressure, batch size and department organisation.

These systems are part of the broader Flainox garment dyeing range, alongside atmospheric machines, pantyhose solutions and industrial dryers.
